trop jeune pas riche (tʀo ʒœn pɑ ʀiʃ) or too young not rich. at grad school for literature, i was the youngest and had a baby face. a variation my first name (Troy to Trojan) and my youth gave birth to the nickname trop jeune. while in a course on the fables of La Fontaine, my professor thought my last name (Parrish) should be pronounced like pas riche in french.
